Hereford College of Arts (HCA) is a dedicated arts college with a specialist focus on art, media, design, popular music and performing arts.  Our dynamic creative community offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees alongside a range of further education and short course programmes.  Located in Hereford, we enjoy all the advantages of a compact, historic city set in the midst of exceptional countryside, an area rich in cultural activity, enterprise, and innovation.   The College is proud of its history and track-record but now has an ambitious strategy to grow in scale and develop around curriculum, community, creative spaces and places, and student careers and enterprise to become a truly exceptional centre for modern creative education – rooted in place, connected to the world.

We are seeking to appoint an HE Operations and Strategy Implementation Manager to support the effective implementation of HCA’s new strategy, as well as improve the administration of our growing portfolio of HE courses.  We are looking for someone who can help devise and introduce new systems to respond to strategic priorities, and model and support changes in practice and culture.

You will work closely with members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), Course Leaders, and Registry and gain an insight into many aspects of college leadership and management.

We have recently started implementing an ambitious new strategy that impacts on every area of the college but need your help with the compilation and close tracking of action plans and reports to SLT, the college board and our regulators.   However, the remit of the role is broad and you’ll also need to be happy delivering more straightforward administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operational running of our HE courses.

For further information and an application pack please visit the College's website.

Interviews will be held on:  Thursday 11th April 2019

The College is an Equal Opportunities employer and is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.  All posts are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
