Things are changing at the pace at North Kent College and, as Project Director, you’ll be able to directly influence where these exciting changes take us.
You’ll be a key member of our leadership team in this newly created role following our joining with Hadlow and West Kent Colleges. You’ll drive the successful delivery of key strategic projects across the Colleges and in a variety of fields, so you’ll need to be versatile in managing and coordinating projects ranging from Estates to IT to developing new procedures.
You’ll be a self-starter and a natural communicator, comfortable presenting your ideas to steering groups and working with external agencies. You won’t be afraid to challenge people’s ideas when needed, and your own to check strategies are working. You’ll be an outstanding project leader, experienced in keeping auditable track on the status of multiple projects, which is how you successfully manage competing priorities.
You’ll also have a mind for numbers and will be well versed in taking responsibility for budgets and deadlines. Naturally, you’ll have experience in similar professional roles, bringing your experience and enthusiasm to this key position.
In return, we’ll give you 37 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, and you’ll be enrolled onto the Local Government Pension Scheme which also includes life assurance. You’ll also benefit from free parking and have access to a range of onsite facilities including a nursery, restaurants and coffee shops.
