Long Road is a thriving, successful and post 16 Sixth Form College 2,400 students on roll in post-16 studies. Conveniently located close to the M11 and A14, within easy reach of several areas of outstanding natural beauty and the Norfolk Suffolk coast, the college is set next to the Biomedical Campus in its own attractive grounds in the beautiful, thriving and expanding Bio/Technical city of Cambridge. Long Road was judged by OFSTED to be Good all five categories, and we are now taking the next steps to become an Outstanding College.
Working within our Academic Support team, the role will Support and maintain clear expectations for student behaviour and safety whilst they are on or near the College site. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that students abide by the Covid-19 guidance by maintaining social distancing, making sure Students are wearing a face covering when out of the classroom and any implementing any other guidance that may be introduced.
This is an ideal opportunity for a person keen to gain experience of working within a student facing role, in an educational establishment.
This is a term-time only role, working 37 hours per week. Fixed Term Contract until 31st August 2021. The actual annual salary is £14,689.00.
It is our intention that the successful applicant will be in post for the start of term, on 24th August 2020.
