Bury College is a Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to over 3500 full time students and 2000 part time students each year. The college currently works with over 50 high school partners, welcoming students from Bury and the surrounding areas.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning and Funding Analyst to join our team. The college generates income from a range of sources, including the Education and Skills Funding Agency and Greater Manchester Combined Authority.Accurate planning and monitoring of all income is critical to the success of the business.

Working within the Funding and Planning Team, this role is instrumental in ensuring that the college achieves its funding targets by supporting the Curriculum Planning process, with responsibility for producing a range of management reports to support business objectives.

The successful candidate will also be required to develop in depth knowledge of the funding rules and support teams across college to maintain full compliance with the funding agencies’ audit requirements.

You should have the ability to understand and resolve complex issues, and be able to provide sound solutions to a range of colleagues.

Applicants for this role must have a good standard of education, hold a qualification in a relevant subject and be keen to join a growing team. Excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask and a commitment to achieving targets, high standards and meeting deadlines are all essential for this position.
