Maintenance Technician (Barnfield Campus)
We are looking for a part-time Maintenance Technician to join our busy Facilities team. The successful candidate will be reliable, positive and self-motivated.
You will be a responsible and proactive person who adopts a flexible, team approach to ensure our campuses are safe, secure and welcoming. The role varies on a daily basis so you will need to be prepared to get stuck into a range of tasks.
Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential as is an understanding of health and safety requirements. You should be capable of dealing with enquiries from external partners and internal colleagues with the same high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
The successful candidate will have experience of completing a varied range of maintenance tasks including basic joinery, plumbing, electrical and general repair services. You should have a basic level construction craft qualification or an equivalent level of experience and knowledge.
You will be working 20 hours per week (Monday 3:30pm-7: 30 pm, Tuesday-Thursday 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm, Friday 3:30pm-7: 30 pm) and will be required to work and travel between our two campuses in Luton.
