We are currently looking for a Community Engagement and Progressions Officer who will support the BBO Bridges Team to meet its agreed education, training and employment outcomes by promoting the project in the local community to people aged over 25 who are furthest away from the job market.  

In this role, you will be expected to champion supported employment and liaise with a variety of local employers and businesses to ensure that participants have a range of supported employment opportunities.   

Supporting the Bridges team to ensure participants are working towards their desired outcomes, you will be responsible for ensuring that their journeys are clearly and accurately documented.   The BBO Bridges Project is funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund.  This role is initially on a fixed term basis until August 2019, with a possible extension until August 2021 subject to funding confirmation.
