Digital Innovation Assistant
Full time (37 hours per week for 52 weeks per year), permanent
Salary; National Minimum/Living Wage – up to £16,778 per annum
Location; Multi-site (Worksop and Rotherham)
The post of Digital Innovation Assistant is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the college’s digital vision and strategy through supporting the development of staff and learner digital knowledge and skills.
In this role you will utilise your excellent understanding of digital learning technology and resources to work alongside staff and students in order to embed blended delivery strategies and support remote learning opportunities.
You will utilise a range of software to develop and create engaging, visual and interactive content which supports learners and staff in the development of their digital knowledge and skills. The Digital Innovation Assistant will be an integral part of the Quality & Learner Experience Team, tackling staff queries and promoting support opportunities.
This is a unique opportunity and one where you will be instrumental in achieving the digital vision of the organisation. You will be self-motivated, driven and able to communicate and implement innovative ideas and practices.
Have you got what it takes?
Ideally will have recent work experience in either a school or other education setting and have strong IT and communication skills. You will have a Digital Learning Design or digital content qualifications or be willing to work towards these.
You will have significant experience or knowledge of digital content / digital learning and be able to competently demonstrate this.
Alongside your experience and skills, you will possess level 2 English & Maths qualifications and either hold, or be willing to obtain Google Educator Level 2.
