We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual for this exciting new role, which will cement Activate Learning’s position in delivering best in sector care skills education with direct progression to employment with local HSC employers and NHS Trusts.
The role will oversee the running of the 3 LEP match-funded Care Suites, and ensure that these both deliver the skills development required and meet commercial targets. You will take a lead role on NHS partner trusts, social care employers and sector body relationships, As part of the role you will also fulfil a 0.5FTE teaching commitment. Development of the team to ensure we deliver best in sector skills development is essential to the success of the role.
This is a full time, fixed term contract until July 2021.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
You will need to be a qualified and currently practicing specialist in a clinical role, and bring this expertise to all sites. This group-wide role will oversee practical Health and Social Care skills development at all campuses, ensuring that the development of skills in our classrooms and care suites is up to date, fit for purpose to prepare students for Industry Placements and careers in both Clinical (eg: Nursing or midwifery) and Social care roles (eg: Dementia Care, Social Work).
