There is now an exciting opportunity to join us as a Facilities Site Co-ordinator. You will be responsible for promoting a safe, secure and pleasant working environment by undertaking key-holding, maintenance and porterage duties including liaison with staff, students, contractors and external visitors. Duties will include: ensuring the premises are secure and its contents, including the operation of fire, intruder and other alarm systems, to maintain a clean, tidy and well-maintained Campus, to maintain equipment to a safe and serviceable standard and identify and report defects.

You will assist the Head of Estates and Health & Safety and Senior Facilities Co-ordinators in the monitoring, reporting, and, where appropriate, rectification of estates and health and safety issues.

You must have a minimum of 1 year of Estates/Facilities/Industrial experience, comfortable occasionally working at height and have experience in handling chemicals with due regard to COSHH regulations. A flexible approach to the role is essential as you will be expected to attend College premises for emergency callout beyond normal working hours (overtime payment will be paid).
