At Study Group, our students travel from 142 different countries to study on our Higher Education preparatory courses. The students are miles from their family and will be faced with a new culture, lifestyle, and style of learning. Imagine how this would feel. Now, ask yourself… how could I improve the experience that international students have whilst studying in the UK?

If you think about this question and have lots of creative, fun, and engaging ideas then this is a fantastic job opportunity for you to use these ideas to really make a difference. Working within the professional services team, this job gives the opportunity to work with our students throughout their study, ensuring that they have a world class experience whilst in the UK.  This will also include working with the University to ensure that the student transition well into Higher Education.

You’ll join a very friendly, connected team of 6 that’s growing fast, giving excellent progression opportunities. They’re a helpful group that will be happy to support you as you embed into this role. Training will be available to get you up to spend with all our systems and processes, and additional training will be given a minute taking and compliance.

The working hours for this job are 8:30am-5pm, occasionally, some unsociable hours may be required for specific events, and however, the centre operates in an adult environment so there will be other flexibility if this is required. Overall, this is a fun role, where you’ll have lots of autonomy to work with students and the University. It’s a pivotal role within the centre that you can really make your own.

This job offers lots of variety in a fast-paced working environment. You’ll take the lead in organising and delivering a mixture of engagement events, transition events (with the University), and student induction. You will have the opportunity to organise different educational trips and extra-curricular activities. The centre also holds a student liaison committee, and you will have the chance to facilitate this. There is also an element of admin that is required in this job, where you will create basic agendas, minute taking, risk assessments, and some other general centre admin.
