We are currently seeking a Higher Education Academic Registrar to play a significant role within a busy team undertaking a challenging portfolio of duties and also full responsibility for the managementof all quality and academic standards, assessment, examination and validation support functions for Higher Education as well as acting as a lead for academic teams, HE Registry and external bodies, ensuring the academic quality is maintained and relationships between the College and its partners are strengthened.

Reporting to the Dean of Higher education the Academic Registrar will provide analysis, reports and detailed plans to support quality assurance and enhancement activities as well as develop and manage the academic registration for all validated and franchised programmes delivered in partnership with the Universities and Pearson programmes within the University Centre of the College.

The postholder will be highly motivated and possess excellent analytical, communication and organisation skills, with a good understanding of the Higher Education environment and knowledge of the broader teaching landscapes.

As the College supports a number of children and vulnerable adults, all staff are exempt from Section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Accordingly, most staff will be subject to either a 'Standard' or 'Enhanced' DBS (formerly CRB) check.
