We are searching for proactive lecturers who are passionate about teaching events management. You will be given the opportunity to be an integral part of developing a new programme and being creative in your teaching practice. It is essential that you have experience of working in events management so that you can bring this exciting industry to life for our students. We will be launching the Foundation Degree in Events Management in September 2019 and we are looking for qualified HE lecturers to deliver Level 4 (academic year 2019-2020) and Level 5 (academic year 2020-2021). You will be involved in developing, planning and preparing inspiring schemes of work, session plans, teaching & learning resources and assessments. You will teach and assess the essential knowledge, skills and understanding of events management to our learners. You will be responsible for recording student progress against targets and be able to motivate and inspire our learners to achieve their aspirations. Our students will need your support both from an academic and pastoral perspective. You will be supported to carry out research and scholarly activity as well as assisting us to develop the BA (Hons) in Events Management. Experience of the programme validation process is therefore desirable.
