Are you looking for a fulfilling role where you will be given the opportunity to be an integral part of developing a new programme and be creative in your teaching practice? We will be launching the Foundation Degree Policing in September 2019 and we are looking for a qualified HE lecturer to deliver Level 4 (academic year 2019-20) plus Level 5 (academic year 2020-21). You will be involved in planning, preparing and developing creative and inspiring schemes of work, session plans, teaching and learning resources and learning and assessment plans. Your role will also include development of the BA Hons Policing programme therefore knowledge of the validation process is desirable. You will also deliver and assess essential knowledge and understanding to learners in an exciting and innovative way. You will be responsible for recording student progress and be able to motivate and inspire students to achieve targets and develop their skills to enable progression. You will be able to provide the students support in both a pastoral and academic setting. Experience of working within the police force is desirable in this role.
