Within the range of £18,552 to £24,789 per annum pro rata

18.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

We require an ambitious person who has experience in events co-ordination to join our Marketing team to work across our Ipswich, Otley and Leiston campuses. You will join us on a part-time basis and will be a core part of the team to take part in planning and delivering a wide range of internal and external events activities with the opportunity to build your experience, expertise and career.

You will join a busy and friendly marketing department and will support on delivery of a variety of marketing campaigns and events for current and prospective learners and stakeholders. You will support the Marketing Manager in coordinating various college events from open days, award evenings, agricultural events, career fairs, to parent and employer engagement events, and will support the wider marketing department in the delivery of the college’s marketing strategy and pursuit of excellence.

We are looking for an energetic, focussed and meticulously organised individual with a keen desire to learn and apply themselves to the world of marketing and events within education and with a ‘can do’ attitude and approach.

This role is suitable for someone already working in the marketing and/or events sector looking to progress, or for a skilled marketing or related subject graduate to start their marketing and events career. As such experience of marketing is not required, but any related experience or demonstrable skills are highly desirable.

This post is based at the College’s Rural campus in Otley, However Suffolk New College is a multi campus site therefore you will be required to work at and travel between campuses for events.
