We are recruiting for a Trainee Lecturer in Applied Science with the specialism of Chemistry to join our Health, Science and the Services division and to teach effectively on a range of programmes across the College's curriculum.
This post would suit newly qualified graduates who wished to gain a teaching qualification or newly qualified teachers. Lecturer A's have reduced contact hours and are supported through a mentoring system and staff development programmes to develop their classroom practice.
As an ambitious lecturer A, you will work closely within the Health, Science and the Services Division to ensure that students are actively engaged in all aspects of the delivery of Chemistry and you will also work within the Division and liaise with Cross-College areas to enhance the student experience and provide the widest range of opportunities to our students.
As a trainee lecturer your contact teaching hours, relevant to subject specialism, will increase as you gain in skills and experience.
With a Degree or equivalent level qualification in a relevant subject, you will ideally have knowledge of current issues and developments in the Further Education sector.
The salary for this post is £16,823 - £23,704.
