Wigan & Leigh College are looking for Hourly Paid Admissions Interviewers to join our exciting Marketing, School Liaison & Admissions Service.

Admissions interviewers are the first line of contact with all applicants and therefore play a significant role in our admissions and recruitment process. We are looking for applicants with a friendly, helpful and professional disposition, who would enjoy the prospect of interviewing and helping prospective students.

The role is to ensure that successful and positive interviews are carried out, supported by a friendly welcome and appropriate information and guidance on our courses, college life, travel and enrichment.  This process should enable learners to choose a course to match their aspirations and abilities.

There is a range of flexible hours available which will be determined in line with the programme of recruitment events and interviews across the academic year, some hours will be worked in the evening. Hours will be offered to successful candidates in line with these requirements. This role can work well alongside a part-time role.

Employees will, in accordance with statutory guidance, be subject to a comprehensive checking process including references from current and previous employers, health, right to work in the UK, an enhanced DBS check and a further check against the appropriate barred list. To comply with legislation, you are required to obtain a DBS check for your role. We will be asking Protocol National Ltd/Esafeguarding Ltd to undertake this process on our behalf.
