Salary:  £20,074 - £23,412 A21- A28

Hours: 22.2hrs (3 days per week)

Status: Permanent

Reaseheath College is regarded as a leading provider of land - based education in the UK and has exceptional links with employers and associated businesses. The College has a beautiful rural setting situated amongst 330 hectares of farms, parklands, lake, woodland and sports facilities.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a new member of staff to join the Academy of Land and Environment in the role of practical instructor.

You will be expected to undertake practical delivery associated with livestock, estate maintenance and machinery operation in a busy curriculum academy including supporting students, staff and liaising with all customers and stakeholders. You will possess excellent communication skills and be able to plan, prioritise and manage your workload efficiently and effectively. Excellent IT and teamwork skills as well as attention to detail are a pre-requisite for this position. As a member of the academy you will consistently role model the college PRIDE values, ensuring that high standards and excellent customer service are evidenced at all times. There will be some requirement to undertake other related activities which contributes towards the high quality, effective and relevant learning experience expected by our students and wider college. You will be required to work flexibly to support the business and to promote quality of provision.

Please note this role constitutes ‘regulated activity’ as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with barred list information prior to starting employment. You must have the right to work in the UK and will be required to provide evidence to support this
