Qualified Nursery Assistant

We are looking for a level 3 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join our Bracknell & Wokingham College Nursery. This will include:

  • Being a key person to a group of children; being responsible for building relationships with children and their families according to the EYFS.  Keep up to date records of the children’s progress, next steps and have in-depth knowledge of children 0-5
  • Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and staff team
  • Upholding standards of The College Nursery by adhering to all policies and procedures to ensure the safety, health and well-being of the children is paramount
  • To have empathy with the needs of the children and parents
  • To be able to lift children and move play equipment when required. 

This is a permanent, part time role of 19.5 hour per week (0.44 FTE) and is term time only however, we run a holiday club in each of the 3 half terms so the candidate would be expected to work during half term.

Our college nursery offers children from three months old a friendly and caring environment in bright, modern facilities until they enter full-time education. The college nursery is at the Coopers Hill site, off Crowthorne Road North.
