Due to the expansion of our Engineering and Construction department into our new "State of Art" facility and subsequent expansion of our curriculum provision, an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Engineering department of the College. We are looking for a suitably qualified individual to join our team to deliver first class teaching on related subjects. Working within an established and evolving department you will demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching in FE. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic individual with a passion for teaching who is keen to pass on their knowledge and workshop skills to our students and commercial clients. The successful candidate should hold a HNC (or equivalent) qualification in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. The individual should have an excellent working knowledge of Computerized Numerical Control (CNC) Machining, and using a range of NC programs. Knowledge and experience of manufacturing engineering along with experience of pneumatics / hydraulics is also desirable. Experience of teaching and motivating learners to succeed would be an advantage. You should also be willing to work towards a TQFE (Teaching Qualification in Further Education) once employment has commenced if you do not already hold a relevant teaching qualification.
