As a progressive student-centred College, we are now looking for a Head of Department for the Higher Education, Adult and Professional provision. If you are passionate about education, and can inspire those around you, we'd love to hear from you.

The successful candidate will have a specialism within HE and an in depth knowledge of delivering adult programmes, will manage and motivate staff, driving high quality teaching and learning, managing performance and quality, monitor and be accountable for the delivery of individual, team, department and college MLPs and other college targets and priorities, creating and delivering effective programme timetables, delivering optimum staff utilisation and contribute to business planning and management of department budgets as needed, in order to ensure the effective day to day delivery of high quality, fit for purpose learning programmes.

You will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), with a Teaching Qualification. You will have knowledge of current developments within HE and Curriculum and have experience using data to monitor and improve performance. You will have a proven track record of successful staff management and display commitment to raising the quality of our students experience. You will demonstrate commitment to sustained high quality service delivery, responsibility, initiative and innovation.
