We are looking for a dedicated Workshop Technician to join our exciting and expanding department. Our well established and wide-ranging workshops include a large forge with extensive metalwork programs, 20 welding bays, a thriving motor vehicle section as well as land-based engineering.
With a multitude of machinery, tractors and equipment we are looking for a technician with a broad knowledge of how to operate in a busy and diverse workshop environment. With high numbers of students, it is imperative that professional standards are demonstrated and in return you will be working in a unique and rewarding setting.
Whilst not essential, the ideal candidate will have experience of how a forge operates as well as a competent knowledge of machinery, plant and vehicles. They will also need to be organised, hardworking and a confident team player who is adaptable and happy to take initiative.
