Lecturer in Media Studies
Hours: Part or full time (22.2 – 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum).
Salary: £30,280 to £37,251 per annum (full time equivalent), depending on qualifications and experience.
Location: Dartford campus.
Working within North Kent College’s Arts & Creative Industries curriculum area, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitability qualified, experienced and passionate individual to join the department as a Lecturer in Media Studies.
Preparing, teaching and assessing at Levels 2, 3 and 4, the postholder will work across our TV, Film and Digital Journalism courses, with a focus on post-production (editing) and Radio.
Applicants will have specialist knowledge of and, ideally, professional experience within the field, possessing relevant vocational qualifications. Teaching experience related to this discipline is desirable and a full teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain) is essential. Excellent communication skills and computer literacy are key.
