Full time (37hrs per week, all year round), permanent
Salary; £16,778 - £17,525 per annum depending on qualifications
Location; Dearne Valley College, Rotherham
In this role you will provide an effective and efficient administration support to the Contracts and Distance Learning team, by the use of computer and paper-based systems and processes.
You will be responsible for the tracking, checking and processing of quality & performance measures for all contracts and distance learning enrolments. Crucially you will maintain accurate, timely and reportable data on candidate attendance, delivery profiles, sub-contractor delivery, certification and progression therefore you will need to have a good range of IT skills and a keen eye for detail.
Data integrity and record keeping is essential to ensure contract and college compliance.
You will also liaise with internal and external contacts and partners where required and oversee referral and booking process for any full cost work that is handled by the contracts team demonstrating your excellent customer service and communication skills.
Have you got what it takes?
We are looking for someone who has good general administration or customer service experience, as well as someone with good IT skills in using a range of different packages and systems.
Previous experience working within education is desirable.
You should have a level 2 in literacy and numeracy (GCSE or equivalent), and have or be working towards a level 3 in business administration.
You will also either possess or be willing to achieve a level 2 in Initial Advice & Guidance.
