Group Manager of Finance - Commercial, Capital & Subsidiaries

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our newly formed Inspire Education group for a passionate, inspirational and dynamic Group Manager of Finance - Commercial, Capital & Subsidiaries.

As a member of our Wider College Management Team, the Group Manager of Finance - Commercial, Capital and Subsidiaries responsibilities will include both contributing to the overall business strategy, but also ensuring our commercial and subsidiary operations contribute to the delivery of the Group Strategic Plans. The post holder will work closely with the Group Director of Finance, responsible for college group finances.

This is a role which includes both operational and strategic elements, it will be a very hands on role and will therefore suit someone who can think and deliver strategically but is comfortable in the development and production of the reporting needed to ensure good governance.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent level of knowledge and experience and hold a recognised post-graduate professional financial qualification, to Masters equivalent level, coupled with strong leadership experience, including successful development, implementation and oversight of strategic plans in a senior finance role. You will be able to work in a fast-moving environment and will have the ability to influence at all levels. Experience in the education sector is desirable but not essential.

Should you wish to have a informal discussion about the role with the Chief Financial Officer please contact Louise.Perry@ieg.ac.uk
