About Sir George Monoux College:
Monoux is a Sixth Form College for over 1700 students aged 16-19. We offer A Levels, vocational courses at levels 2 and 3, and GCSE resits. We are now in the top 10% of the country for the progress our students make from GCSE (this includes top 10% for disadvantaged students). 95% of our students advance to University or Apprenticeships, and 17% progress to Russell Group Universities.
About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estates Manager with a proven track record in managing projects to be able to lead on the delivery of the Colleges estates strategy.
You will be responsible for managing building projects, overseeing the maintenance of the college estate and leading on health and safety. Leading the College’s site team, you will also have responsibility for statutory compliance and overseeing the work undertaken by external contractors and service providers, including cleaning and security.
You will have an excellent understanding and experience of building maintenance for a large and complex site and be able to provide specialist advice and guidance to others.
You will be a great motivator, be able to plan strategically plan, and have the ability to plan and operate within designated budgets. You will be able to work well with other support service managers to deliver integrated solutions within budget.
