Hairdressing Teacher - 12 months FTC

Job role:

We are looking for an inspiring and creative hair specialist to join our hairdressing team on a part time basis. You will have the responsibility for delivering innovative teaching to our students at all levels. With your excellent subject knowledge and practice skills you will work collaboratively with our existing team of talented and passionate teachers to ensure we plan and deliver purposeful practical and theory lessons and participate in the curriculum development, meeting the needs of changing industry demands.

This post is available on a fixed term contract until December 2021, offering 22.2 hours per week based at our City of Oxford College campus. 

What do you need to be successful in this role?

You will hold a teacher’s qualification or have experience of teaching within an education setting. You will have extensive knowledge of the subject area and can engage and interact with students to ensure they are set up to succeed their end goals. 

In addition, you will need to have a flexible approach, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will demonstrate the ability to engage and develop students and role model the attributes that we develop within our learners.
