Hourly Paid Lecturer in ESOL Ref: 1613W

An hourly paid opportunity has arisen within our high-performing ESOL team.

The School of Language, Literacy & Numeracy are looking for an experienced and suitably qualified ESOL tutor to join our teaching team.

You will teach within our ESOL provision and preferably have the potential to teach across all levels. Our LLN provision includes college-based courses, during the day and evenings, from pre-entry to Level 2 qualifications. You will have the opportunity to teach across levels and develop your skills. This role would suit someone with an understanding of adult learners and the ability to deliver innovative learning opportunities to meet their needs.

We welcome applications from experienced and newly qualified teachers, who can demonstrate their enthusiasm and have a desire to work with learners. FE or community teaching experience and a formal teaching qualification is desirable, although if you are willing to obtain your teacher training qualifications, we would also like to hear from you. The applicant must have a CELTA or equivalent qualification.

This is an hourly paid, fixed term position based at Watford Campus and/or Hemel Campus with an initial end date of July 2021.

The closing date for applications is Monday 30 November 2020.

We intend to hold interviews on Wednesday 9 December 2020.

The successful candidate will join the School of Language, Literacy & Numeracy, reporting to the Head of School, Afsha Khan.
