We are seeking amazing ex teachers and retired teachers to join us in this unique and exciting, role you will support an assigned cohort of learners who require additional support in maths and/or English as a result of the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
English & maths Catch-up Coach (Up to 15 roles available)
Full time (37hrs per week for 52wks per year), fixed term (until 31 July 2021)
Salary; £23,889 per annum
Location; All sites across RNN Group (Rotherham and Worksop)
This is a truly rewarding role, working with students and directly seeing the impact of your work on a daily basis. You will work within the English and maths department as part of the team and will enjoy a supportive work environment.
A key element of the role is to liaise with Curriculum staff to secure the best possible educational outcomes for students studying maths and English, helping them to overcome barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential.

We know that ex teachers and retired teachers have a plethora of knowledge and skills in working with young people. This is invaluable to us. Perhaps you have enjoyed a fulfilling career as an educator and want something new, or you have been out of education for a while and realise how much you miss it.
You will hold a level 2 (or above) in English and/or maths, a university classified degree at 2:2 (or higher). You should be an excellent communicator and have a good working knowledge and using of IT.
