Taking full responsibility for a cohort of candidates on an electrical installation Apprentice programme, you will be instrumental in ensuring they are ready for careers in electrical industry.

Working closely with candidates, you will deliver training, monitor and review their progress, set targets and undertake assessments in the workplace.  You will monitor the achievement of the 20% off the job training requirement and support learners and employers to achieve this.  You will make sure they are aware of routes for progression and further development. Developing relationships with both existing and new employers, you will actively secure training opportunities and support the growth of apprenticeships.

Naturally, you will develop employers' assessment capabilities, and make sure they are aware of their health, safety and equal opportunities obligations, as well as taking care to ensure work and college-based aspects of the apprenticeship complement each other effectively. You will also contribute to resource development with colleagues.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in delivering Electrical Apprenticeships and working in the Further Education/Work Based Learning sector.  Desirable experience of delivering the new Apprenticeships Standards would also be beneficial.
