About the Role


  • To deliver exceptional teaching to students on a variety of Further Education Horse Management courses, predominantly theory and practical units to BTEC Horse Management students, as well as Equestrian Teaching and riding.
  • As a personal tutor, you will advise and guide individuals in their progress, success and career aspirations
  • To inspire students to appreciate all aspects of equine management and instill in them a passion for the work of caring for horses and a desire to develop their understanding


About You


  • An expectation to complete a teaching qualification
  • Possess a degree or equivalent in relevant subject area
  • Hold a minimum qualification of BHS Stage 2 Teach, but Stage 3 Coach / BHSAI preferable
  • Be a highly motivated lecturer with experience of providing tutorial support to students being advantageous
  • A holder of the A1 Assessors Award (or equivalent) and V1 Internal Verifiers Award (or equivalent) would be desirable
