Activate Learning have recently partnered with DWP and Seetec Pluss to support the JETS (Job Entry Targeted Support) campaign that has recently been launched by the UK government. As part of the expansion to the existing Governments Work and Health Programme, which provides tailored employment support services to individuals to secure meaningful and sustainable employment, this role will ensure a targeted employment scheme is available to those individuals who have recently been made unemployed as a result of the devastating impact of Covid-19.
We are looking for empathetic and passionate Employment Adviser to support the project team in enabling this project. You will be responsible to influence and support project participants into meaningful and sustainable employment, breaking down barriers to employment. You will also have a responsibility to oversee the recruitment process, working with local employers to identify their recruitment needs and to secure opportunities for our participants.
This role will play a key role in contributing to the UK Government’s ‘economic recovery’ strategy announced by the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 8th July 2020’’
This position is available on full time, FTC contract until April 2022.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
You will have experience of working to high performance and compliance standards and the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced but rewarding role.
In-addition will have previous experience in recruitment and can demonstrate employer engagement skills.
