We are looking for an experienced tutor to join our team and teach on our Initial Teacher Training courses: these include our Certificate in Education, Post Graduate Certificate in Education City and Guilds including the Diploma in Education and Training as well as our L5 Apprenticeship in Learning and Skills. The role will include not only teaching on the programme but a requirement to carry out a number of Teacher Training Observations weekly, with timely assessment of learning and feedback to trainees on their performance. Involvement in the quality assurance curriculum planning procedures is also required to ensure continuous improvements in course performance. You should be a dedicated practitioner with significant teaching experience. You will need to hold the relevant subject and a teaching qualification and the ability to teach to Level 6. You should hold an excellent grade 1-2 teaching profile within your own practice, experience of delivering ITE programmes and delivery of lesson observations and processes. Proven organisational ability and experience are required to support with curriculum planning and the structure of the courses. A knowledge of apprenticeships and revalidation of higher education degrees and programmes will be advantageous.
