WHAT WE DO

The Visual & Digital Arts Department at Leeds City College has an exceptional reputation in the regions for outstanding education. We are a large creative department which includes a wide range of creative pathways for our learners. The digital arts pathways (Computer games, Animation and Visual Effects and Digital Arts) provide vocational skills to around 250 learners at from Level 1 to Access to HE courses. Our staff are highly skills educationalists with strong industry knowledge and a passion for developing young and adult learners in a post 16 setting at our new creative arts campus at Quarry Hill in Leeds

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Plan a creative digital curriculum with teams of teachers
Teach and assess on those courses
Innovate and develop new provision with new resources
Oversee and support the learning of around 120 learners
Work and be supported in a strong staff team of 15 Creative Digital Staff

YOUR PROFILE

Proven experience in teaching in a vocational setting
Skills in creative digital technologies particularly for Games and Animation (games engines, adobe suite, Maya, 3Ds Max, etc)
You will have some skills in coding
Strong people and communication skills
You will be open minded and will to develop your skills
Some Games/animation industry knowledge
