Peterborough College is a large, successful college of further and higher education.

We currently have a permanent, full time opportunity for a Student Services Administrator in the College’s Student Services Directorate. This role has a primary focus on the Additional Learning Support (ALS) and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department administrative and information processes which underpins the provision delivery.

 

Key responsibilities involved in this role include; undertaking a range of tasks related to the enrolment and admission procedures for new and existing ALS and SEND students in including providing IAG on provision. Working across the teams to ensure that all staff complete key local recording systems accurately and support the implementation for new procedures and strategies. Inputting and auditing of ALS delivery across FE and HE ensuring accuracy of information and data that it is timely and reliable. Carrying out administration tasks key to the functions of the Student Services team.

 

The working hours will usually be 8.30 am to 5.00 pm from Monday to Thursday and 8.30 am to 4.30 pm on Friday.  However, the working hours will vary on occasions dependent on the needs of the College. 

 

The successful candidate will have a good level of education including Level 2 qualifications in English, maths and IT and hold a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject e.g. MIS, IT, Finance, IAG, ADMIN

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a good understanding of quality customer service and ability to deliver information using a variety of mediums. Excellent time management and organisation skills are essential along with a good eye for attention to detail and data accuracy.
