Salary: Starting salary of (£26,102) per annum for non-qualified teachers (£26,898) for qualified teachers, rising to (£30,000) with experience in the role.                

We are seeking a new English lecturer to join our high performing, innovative and friendly team. We are looking for an outstanding, dynamic and resilient teacher who has experience of teaching Functional Skills English.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the qualities to deliver innovative and creative teaching for to a variety of learning levels within our FE College.  This is an ideal opportunity for new graduates to develop a career in education, or experienced teachers who will bring knowledge of delivering this subject to a high standard.  A degree in an English related subject is essential, as is a minimum of Level 2 in English/Maths and IT.

If you have exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritise and coordinate a challenging workload, this may be the right role for you.  You will be a self-starter, who can quickly develop a good rapport with a variety of people.
