Rated Outstanding in the latest Ofsted inspection, Burnley College Sixth Form Centre provides first-class Further Education, University Education, Apprenticeship, business training and adult learning programmes, in the heart of Pennine Lancashire.

We are currently recruiting for a Dean of University Education to provide strategic and academic guidance in relation to the direction, growth and ongoing development of the Colleges University Provision.

The post holder will nurture and develop strong relationships with University partners and lead on the development and implementation of a high-quality curriculum framework and entitlement for all students to assure high achievement rates on all Burnley College University Courses.

With a degree or equivalent level qualification, recognised teaching qualification and higher degree, the ideal candidate will receive a very competitive salary and must have:
  • demonstrable experience of successful responsibility at managerial level
  • a thorough knowledge of University Education quality assurance processes and procedures
  • personal commitment to the students and clients of Burnley College
