This is an excellent opportunity for a Head of School Construction and Engineering with outstanding leadership and management skills to lead on all learner achievement and effectively ensure efficient performance management of staff

Reporting to the Director of MESTEM you will help drive forward continuous improvement and take a lead in strategic direction of Construction and Engineering, maximising student participation, you will ensure all students within the School receives a consistently outstanding experience leading to improved success rates. You will also play a key role in success of ‘The London City Institute of Technology’ when it opens.

The successful candidate will drive a ‘business approach’ across the campus that identifies opportunities for new curriculum innovation and growth and will exploit opportunities to earn income from a variety of sources, including provision on a commercial basis.

We are looking for a creative decision maker with a track record of managing staff and teams to the achievement of set targets and who has a depth of knowledge and understanding of the curriculum and qualifications in the learning area.

Qualified to at least graduate level (or equivalent professional qualification) you will hold a Teaching qualification and A1/V1 Verifiers Award (or working towards) and Level 2 English and Maths and ICT
