We are recruiting for a Communication Support Worker to join our Additional Learning Support Team at Peterborough College.

You will support D/deaf/hard of hearing/deafblind students to enable them to actively participate in learning, encourage independence and maximise their potential.

You will also work closely with teaching staff to strengthen collaborative working and communication and provide EHCP provision where applicable, helping students to maximise their learning potential and successfully achieve their academic goals.

We are looking for someone with a Level 3 qualification in British Sign Language and a Level 2 qualification in Learning Support, along with a good level of education including a Level 2 qualification in English & Maths.

Finally, you will have the proven ability to work successfully and influentially as part of a team.
