Askham Bryan College is a large, and still growing, specialist land-based College, with centres throughout Yorkshire, Cumbria, the North East and Tees Valley’.

It is passionate about land-based education and offers fantastic facilities and a wide range of exceptional courses delivered by knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff.  It has a clear focus on ensuring its students receive the best possible grounding for a career in the land based industry.

The College has enjoyed a period of significant growth in recent years, with in excess of 4500 students now enrolled in further and higher education courses, but it has always retained its focus on students and staff, with their success being the goal. This success comes in many forms – an excellent academic performance, gaining a job in a chosen field or completing and enjoying the course, the aim is to nurture students to their maximum potential. With a dedicated team of staff and strong industry links developed over a number of years, the College is well placed to achieve this goal.

In 2013 Care Standards were judged ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and there is a determination and clear strategic plan for the College to be ‘Outstanding’ in every sense. This will be achieved through a relentless focus on the highest standards of teaching and learning, continued investment in facilities and dynamic leadership at all levels.
