Barrow-in-Furness Sixth Form College is the only sixth form college in Cumbria, situated on an attractive campus close to the Lake District.  Barrow-in-Furness Sixth Form College serves a limited population including some deprived urban areas and a large area of rural south Cumbria.  Our student population closely matches that of our locality by most indicators and is significantly different from the profile for sixth form Colleges nationally.  This is particularly the case at level 2 and for adult students.

Full time 16-18 A level teaching constitutes the core business at the College.  However, the College also teaches 16-18 students on GCSE, Cambridge Technical and other courses and also some adults, mainly on care courses.
