Bradford College is one of the largest Further and Higher Education Colleges in the UK, offering over 1000 courses that cover a full range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional qualifications.
The campus is located in the middle of Bradford, a cosmopolitan city full of rich diversity, within easy reach of the breathtaking countryside of the Yorkshire Dales.
We have been delivering quality education and training for over 175 years. Bradford college is the fourth largest in the country and the largest provider of higher education outside of the university sector in England. Currently, the college delivers education and training to over 23,000 students and has a turnover of £56 million.
Our multi-million-pound campus provides an innovative and technology-rich learning environment in the heart of the city. The campus is named after famous Bradford College alumnus and internationally acclaimed artist, David Hockney. The eco-friendly campus design has a light and airy feel and is sympathetic to the large-scale mill and warehouse buildings that characterise parts of Bradford.
In addition to the David Hockney Building, the Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) opened its doors in September 2015. The ATC provides young people and adults with access to state-of-the-art technology to develop the specialist skills needed to meet the needs of employers regionally, nationally and internationally in the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics sectors.
Bradford College has a national reputation in a number of fields. It was recently presented with a National Beacon Award for its outstanding contribution to Equality & Diversity by the Association of Colleges and awarded the Training Quality Standard – the highest accolade possible in recognition of its excellent work with employers. It is also home to three Centres of Vocational Excellence (COVEs) in Applied Science, Beauty & Complementary Therapies and Gas Innovation Learning and Professional Learning.
