The College of West Anglia is one of the largest colleges in the Eastern region and has an excellent record for student achievement and success, rated 'good' by Ofsted at our last inspection in January 2013 and satisfactory in our financial health. We are always seeking continuous improvement and to recruit the best staff to help us continue to raise our standards.
The College of West Anglia has 3 main campuses and other smaller sites where we deliver our curriculum. Our main campus is at King’s Lynn, with other large campuses at Wisbech and Milton in Cambridge. We also have a smaller site in Downham Market and a specialist sports campus in King’s Lynn.
The college is one of the largest employers in West Norfolk with around 800 staff and 10,000 students across our campuses. We are committed to ensuring equality of opportunity to all learners, clients and employees. The college is also committed to acknowledging the diversity of society in which it works. No applicant, employee, student or client with the following protected characteristics (defined in the Equality Act 2010) will receive less favourable treatment; race, sex, religion, age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage/civil partnership, religion or belief, sexual orientation or because of Trade Union activity or irrelevant previous criminal convictions. We take a positive approach to the provision of opportunities for disabled students and staff, with facilities being constantly reviewed and improved. The college is part of the Positive about Disabled People programme which is annually renewed.
