Halesowen College is a thriving tertiary college delivering primarily to 16-19-year-old learners serving the communities of South Black Country/West Birmingham including Dudley, South Sandwell, West Birmingham, Worcestershire and Staffordshire areas. We are the only college in the region to offer a free coach service to all learners with over 2000 students accessing these coach services each week.
Halesowen College operates from three main sites, Whittingham Road, Shenstone House and the Coombs Wood Centre. Facilities, buildings and resources are modern, inviting and the campuses are an exciting place to learn and work.
The town centre is a short walk away and has plenty of shops and places to eat and drink as well as a Norman-era church. The College has a Skills Shop for ease of access for local people to find out about and to sign up for courses and apprenticeship programmes.
The College is close to motorway links M5(M42), M6 and is around 7 miles (11 km) from Birmingham city centre, 30 minutes away by car and reachable by the number 9 bus. It is 6 miles (10 km) from Dudley town centre. Although predominantly urban or suburban in character, Halesowen borders on greenbelt land with excellent access to the countryside, for example the Clent Hills.
AoCJobs, part of the Association of Colleges, connects teachers and support staff with schools and colleges for online job opportunities.
