Hills Road Sixth Form College is a friendly and caring College committed to offering the best opportunities possible for its students. The continued success of the College is due to the commitment of our experienced and knowledgeable staff, which currently number around 250 employed in a wide range of teaching and support roles. Hills Road Sixth Form College has excellent facilities with permanent specialist accommodation in which all lessons are taught. It is an exciting and rewarding place in which to work and many visitors to the college comment on its purposeful and happy atmosphere.
We have a range of full-time and part-time employment opportunities, both term-time only and full year. Staff enjoy the benefits of working in a well-maintained and resourced environment with good terms and conditions of employment.
Staff are able to join either the Teachers’ Pension Scheme, if they are teaching staff, or the Local Government Pension Scheme, if they are support staff. Both of these are careers average schemes which include pension provision, life insurance and death in service benefits.
