We are an inclusive college which offers a broad academic and general vocational provision, mainly at Level 3. We were very fortunate to be able to secure funding for a complete rebuild of the College and, since 2010, students and staff have benefited from working together in an exceptional environment with outstanding facilities.
Students are at the heart of everything we do and our student body reflects the diverse community that we serve in Luton and the surrounding areas. Our values statement, SMILE, summarises what we, the staff, students and governors of the College, believe in:
Students: as the focus for the work of everyone in the College
Mutual Respect: caring for and valuing students, staff, governors and our community
Integrity: honesty, working hard, taking personal responsibility and promoting equity and fairness
Learning:a passion for learning and its capacity to change lives
Excellence:high aspirations, high standards and high achievement.
Working at Luton Sixth Form College is extremely stimulating and rewarding, as a result of both the energy, passion and support from governors and colleagues and our extremely effective support services and systems. A comprehensive in-house staff development programme is delivered throughout the year and there is extensive support for external training, including for professional qualifications.
If you are passionate about the life changing impact of education and you are interested in becoming part of our team, we look forward to receiving your application, which you should address to the Human Resources Department.
