Middlesbrough College is a General Further Education College (GFE) and the largest provider of post-16 education and training in the Tees Valley. In August 2008, the College relocated from four sites (Acklam, Kirby, Longlands and Marton) to a new £68 million campus at Middlehaven with an additional £6.8 million spent in 2012 on a new Sixth Form Centre (MC6) and Sports Facilities (MC SPORT) and a further £20 million to be spent on a STEM Centre and further extension of the Sixth Form Centre (MC6).
Middlesbrough College is ambitious and as an Investor, in People (Gold) we are fundamentally committed to the happiness and well-being of our staff, students and stakeholders. At Middlesbrough College, we enjoy wonderful buildings and other physical resources. However, we understand that our key resource is the staff. After all, nobody was ever well taught, or cleaned by, or catered for by a brick! We invest in training, our staff enjoy good pensions and other pay /non-pay benefits and most of all we care and believe in a ’one college, one team’ ethos. Middlesbrough College is completely focussed on getting it right for our students, employers and staff, and this recruitment campaign "it’s all about jobs" highlights the impact Middlesbrough College has on the local, regional and national economy. We look forward to receiving your application and hopefully join an ambitious and forward thinking Further Education College.
