Staff Training & Development

Every year we produce a brand new Staff Training and Development Directory which details all of the learning programmes which are available for staff to support the achievement of our organisational aims and objectives.

All staff members will have a clear College Training Plan which covers general your own training and development, as well as the CPD programme for those staff specifically engaged in teaching and learning activities. We have some of the best teaching and non-teaching staff in Further Education and strive to maintain high standards to support ongoing skills development helping all our staff to reach the top of their careers.

We evaluate the effectiveness of all staff training and development and have a dedicated Staff Development Team who will assist and support you through all activities. If course evaluations fall below the predetermined level (90%), the course will be revisited, taking into account the feedback from delegates. Embedding Learning in the workplace is key to our success.

The job description describes the post in details including clear requirements and the person specification identifies the minimum skills, experience and qualifications needed by the post holder to carry the job out the job effectively.
