Trinity Specialist College is a Post 19 Further Education College and day placement centre providing up to a 36-week provision for students with learning differences and behaviours that challenge, disabilities and Autism.
The College was opened in 2011. It was started and is run by two sets of working parents who had struggled to find appropriate provision for their own young adults with disabilities.
The building is light, spacious and airy with three large classrooms, each accommodating up to eight students. There is space for group sessions, individual work stations, ICT work stations, relaxation areas and ‘safe spaces’ where students are encouraged to self-manage their anxieties.
Trinity Specialist College is small and friendly and currently caters for 30 students at ‘The Lindridge’, which is a converted and much-extended farmhouse located in a beautiful rural setting surrounded by farmland and 10 students that are located at a satellite setting.
AoCJobs, part of the Association of Colleges, connects teachers and support staff with schools and colleges for online job opportunities.
