We are looking to appoint a Trainer Assessor in Food and Drink Manufacturing to our highly motivated and creative team.

The successful candidate would be required to carry out workplace delivery and assessments, progress reviews, including setting SMART Targets and action plans for apprentices, conduct health and safety appraisals and deliver on the apprenticeship standards and professional qualifications at Level 2 to Level 4, including the embedding of Functional Skills and Wider Skills.  Experience of / ability to deliver HACCP / Food Safety Qualifications in Manufacturing is essential.

The role will also include IQA duties within an existing team and developing the College’s offer in conjunction with employer partners and awarding bodies.  The post holder will be required to deliver employer led curriculum and to some apprenticeship groups in college preparing apprentices for end point assessment.

Suitable candidates will hold a recognised assessment qualification (TAQA, A1, V1 or equivalent, a teaching qualification is desirable), the successful candidate will have a proven track record and be confident in all aspects of workplace assessment within the plumbing and heating sector.
