The college is looking for a driven Learning Support Mentor (Health and Personal Care) to join their creative industries team. They need to be motivated and enthusiastic towards getting the best out of their learners through a detailed approach in 1:1 learning and development. They need to be able to deliver high quality support in a mix of different learning environments ranging from Gardening and Cooking classes to Maths and English. The Learning Support Mentor (Health and Personal Care) must have a strong SEND background to create a warm and approachable environment for their students to feel safe and inclusive throughout their learning journey. They need to be compassionate and caring in order to assist student with health and personal care needs.

Successful Learning Support Mentor (Health and Personal Care) will have:

GCSE English Grade C / Level 4 or equivalent

Experience in working with people with SEND

Experience in providing personal care

High level of sensitivity and empathy
